Introduction to Meta tag

The element Meta helps search engines find web pages through the contents of the meta element.

• the attribute name identifies the meta element.
• The attribute content having keywords meta element which helps search engines find this web page via the list of words, and the descritption meta element explaining briefly the description of the web page.

For example < meta name = "keywords" content = "HTML5, web design, lists, forms, special characters">

< meta name = "description" content = "This tutorial helps users to learn how to design simple web sites.">
